At READI, we integrate virtual reality (VR) into our workforce training programs to create immersive, hands-on learning experiences that go beyond traditional instruction. Virtual Reality enabled instruction provides learners with realistic scenarios for career exploration, soft skills development like communication and teamwork, and hard skills training in high-demand fields. But we don’t stop there—our approach is holistic. We couple job training with critical resiliency-building wellness interventions such as anger management, mindset restructuring, emotional self-regulation, and stress reduction. This dual focus ensures that participants not only gain the technical and interpersonal skills needed for employment but also develop the mental and emotional strength to thrive in both the workplace and life.

 Let students explore high-demand careers through 20-minute virtual simulations. Try out roles in healthcare, hospitality, plumbing, electrical, and more—helping youth make informed decisions about their future.

Mindset & Resilience Training

Who We Serve

  • Agencies supporting out of system youth, aged 13-26, justice involved youth, unhoused, foster care or early career adults seeking a new start; — READI can act as a standalone program or a great hands on supplement to your existing workforce training program.

  • READI supports schools and learning groups looking to use technology to prepare teens for the real world. We help students ages 13–19 explore careers through virtual reality and build the social and emotional skills they need to succeed.

    Our programs make learning fun, flexible, and hands-on. We help students discover job options, understand their emotions, and learn how to stay calm and focused in tough situations. Whether you want to boost engagement or prepare students for life after school, READI is here to help.

  • If you're working to engage youth or support their re-entry into the community, READI can help. We offer job readiness and mindset development programs designed for youth who need guidance and growth.

By shadowing various professions, they build valuable skills in a playful and supportive environment. This unique approach helps spark curiosity and confidence in their future potential, all while exploring the world of work through immersive virtual reality.

Sample Youth Workforce Courses

This simulation introduces the user to a day in the life of an electrician. Learners are first introduced to the proper personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring safety is front and center. From there, they’re guided through completing a basic electrical task, offering hands-on experience in a virtual environment that builds confidence and sparks career interest.

In this simulation, users step into a customer service role and practice handling emotionally charged interactions with upset customers. Guided by AI, learners receive real-time support as they navigate the conversation, then get personalized feedback on their communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills. It’s a safe, smart way to build confidence and improve emotional intelligence.
